WHAT WE DO:

TitleTen, Inc. is a national-security focused film production, development, and consulting company. We work through our global network of trusted sources to connect great stories and great story-tellers. As experienced national-security professionals, we are interested in helping tell stories rooted in the intelligence community, the diplomatic corps, the defense department, and other corners of the foreign affairs arena.

We are not out to expose sensitive information for thrills. However, we don’t believe that important stories should be withheld from the public just because they make some in the bureaucracy nervous. We think sunlight is good for democracy and security. We think that vanguard sensibilities and a contrarian attitude make for fascinating story-telling.

WHAT'S IN A NAME:

Throughout our careers working in support of various elements of the national security community, our professional experiences have been shaped by a specific section of federal law. Title 10 of the United States Code, “Armed Forces”, outlines the roles and missions, the authorities and responsibilities that define the Department of Defense and the Armed Forces. For us, our company’s name is a constant short-hand reminder of where we come from and where our interests lie.

OUR MOTTO: VINDICAMUS

“Vindico” is a Latin verb that means “to restore to its free condition”. However, Cicero used it specifically in the sense to deliver, to liberate, to protect, to defend, and we like those implications. “Vindicamus” is the present plural form; so it translates literally as “we restore [something] to its free condition”. The way we interpret it into modern English is “we make it right”. For us, this is a touchstone to remind ourselves of what we do at TitleTen.
